TreeKeepers Spring 2025 Course Scholarship Application

Thank you for your interest in the TreeKeepers Course!

The Spring 2025 Course will be held at Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT) - 10 W 35th St, Chicago, IL 60616.

Individuals who receive a scholarship are required to attend all TreeKeepers course classes, as well as assist for one hour before or after class to help with set up or breakdown.

The dates and times for the classes are as follows:

Class 1: Saturday, March 8 (9 AM - 1 PM)
Class 2: Saturday, March 15 (9 AM - 1 PM) PRUNING DAY
Optional review (virtual): Wednesday, March 19 (6-6:30 PM)
Class 3: Saturday, March 22 (9 AM - 1 PM)
Class 4: Saturday, March 29 (9 AM - 1 PM) PLANTING DAY
Review: Wednesday, April 2 (6 PM)
Class 5: Saturday, April 5 (9 AM - 1 PM) STEWARDSHIP/EXAM

Virtual review sessions will be done via Microsoft Teams and you can join from your home or wherever else is convenient.

Pruning Practicals will take place on Saturday, March 15th
Planting Practicals will take place on Saturday, March 29th

Openlands allocates limited available scholarships based on course partners and residents of the community area where the course is held. Check the boxes that apply to you-*
